Common Questions
AMK is made from natural marble so it can be used indoor and outdoor.
AMK is produced from ecologically safe, non-allergic raw materials. It is completely safe for humans of all ages and pets.
AMK is not affected by humidity or water but does not provide walls with waterproofing. Although AMK can be washed with water, it should not be used in areas with regular water contact such as shower cabins or saunas.
We recommend using White-Portland Cement adhesives.
To ensure the best results when applying AMK outdoors, it is recommended to choose glues that have additional water resistance properties.

If the installation process is done properly using suitable adhesive, the average lifespan of AMK outdoors will be at least 15 years, and for indoors 25 years.
Assuming the walls are in good condition and the surface is correctly prepared for installation.
Any surface on which cement adhesive can be applied is suitable for AMK by default. Please read the instructions provided by adhesive manufacturer.
Example: Masonry walls, Cement plaster, Cement board, Drywall
To install AMK, it’s important to prepare the surface beforehand.
First, ensure that the surface is flat, free of dust and has been primed.
In cases of old walls, it’s recommended to apply a base coat of cement plaster to create a smooth and even surface.
For insulation materials and OSB, it’s necessary to cover them with a cement and reinforcement mesh base coat.
The marble chips used in AMK are coated with iron oxide pigments that resist ultraviolet radiation and do not fade in sunlight.
For safety, use AMK away from flames. It’s safe to use it close to heat but not over 70 degrees.
AMK is a highly durable material that can withstand harsh weather conditions, making it suitable for use in regions with sudden temperature changes. According to laboratory tests, AMK can endure over 50 defrosting cycles. The material can operate within a temperature range of -70 to +50 degrees Celsius after installation.
AMK does not require additional protection, but you can use a natural stone protector coating to maintain its initial appearance.
